Barista 36 by Mix Masters

Barista 36 by Mix Masters is a collaborative coffee training program between Mix Masters Bartending Academy and professional barista trainer Thasun Rasanga Fernando. The program delivers industry-focused barista education with hands-on training in coffee preparation, espresso techniques, milk texturing, and café service standards, preparing students for real-world café and hospitality careers.

Course Overview

The Barista 36 Training Course takes aspiring coffee professionals on a complete journey from bean to cup. Students learn the fundamentals of coffee history, bean varieties, processing methods, roasting, grinding, and brewing techniques.

The program focuses heavily on practical espresso preparation, milk texturing, and latte art, while also covering specialty coffee knowledge, café operations, hygiene standards, and customer service skills.
Students also gain essential soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and professional barista behavior, helping them perform confidently in real café environments.
To bridge the gap between training and the industry, the course includes hands-on practical sessions and career preparation, including interview guidance and professional development for café employment.
